Pacers Rank #5 at Rugby Provincials

The Pacers did quite well at the first ever 7's
Rugby Provincials in St. Albert this May 31
weekend. This was in spite of the smoke nearly
closing the competition on Saturday. The Pacers
came in 5th place in the province.
There were many standout players this season
and in provincials. They included Ryley O'Brien,
Anderson King, and Brock Holt. All three boys
scored several tries over the weekend. The scores
from their games include:

Terrific results for PCHS grade 9 Pacers at Track & Field Meet
PCHS grade 9 Pacers achieved terrific results at
the Track & Field Meet in St. Albert reccently.
Results included Jorja Williams winning gold in
the senior girls 3000 m. running it in 10:54. She
lapped the other girls and beat most of the boys.
Jorja also won the 1500 m and the 800 m. Chloe
Kemp was 2nd in discus; Alia Boulanger was 4th
in Triple Jump; Kyle Tuttle was 7th in javelin;
Madeline Campbell was 11th in the 400 m; and
Noah Biehler was 12th in the 400 m and the 800
m. submitted

Zoe Banack, a grade 9 student at
Parkland Composite High School, won
gold last Thursday at the Jasper Golf
Tournament shooting a 98. She also
recently won at the Edson Golf
Tournament shooting a 96 and winning the
GYAC Golf Girls Champions banner for
the fourth year in a row. "Way to go Zoe,
PCHS is proud to have you as one of their
