throwing contest, and a ladies accuracy
throwing concert.
There was no dance in the evenings but
athletes and spectators could take advantage
of the beer gardens throughout the weekend.
“We've always focused on the baseball and
wanting the tournament to be all about the
ball,” said Valliere-Kowalchuk.
On Sunday, the tournament went into a
double knockout event, where some teams
played up to five games in a row.
The winning teams in each division from A
to E were the Muffin Stuffers, I'd Hit That
Deeper, The Headbangerz, Dicken Cider, and
Ballin. The best dressed team of the
tournament was the Sexy Pitches, who
dressed up on Saturday in matching shirts and
floating devices to look like the Baywatch
squad.
Valliere-Kowalchuk mentioned it's too early
to tell what's to come at next year's charity
ball tournament, but things look positive.
They will announce how much money was
