YELLOWHEAD COUNTY USER CHANGES
Effective June 15, 2020, ALL users of the Edson Landfill will be
subject to the same fee schedule. This includes Yellowhead EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
County users, who were previously exempt. Yellowhead County
Council approved the change at their May 26th Council TOWN OF EDSON

RATE CHANGE (MATTRESS DISPOSAL)
Effective June 3, 2020, there will be a $20 surcharge
implemented for mattress disposal. (Box Springs excluded).
This fee offsets the extra fees put in place by the West
Yellowhead Regional Waste Management Authority for mattress
disposal. Mattress recycling options are also being explored.
