Braving the cold for Winter Walk Day
by Natalie Rau
The Town of Edson organized the 6th Annual
Winter Walk Day on February 6.
The event was for Town employees and any
member of the public wishing to participate.
Winter Walk Day was organized to “encourage
residents to get out and be active no matter what
the conditions are,” said Town of Edson
Community Development Coordinator Scott
Lamb.
Despite the cold weather, five people
participated in the 3km walk which started at
Repsol Place.
“It was great fun and the scenery was
beautiful. We saw some majestic wildlife. Big
thanks to everyone who braved the cold to join
us! We look forward to seeing you next year,”
said Lamb. Scott Lamb Town of Edson Coordinator with four of the participants for Winter Walk Day on February 6.
